When our son was born nine week early in 2024, our lives were flipped upside down. We spent the next 58 days in the NICU with him until we were finally able to bring him home on his original March 8 due date.
Having a baby in the NICU is hard. NICU parents experience every emotion in the book; lots of highs and lots of lows. During our stay, our cousin gifted us a set of NICU milestone markers and a journal. These items meant so much. We were able to commemorate special NICU moments like when he doubled his birth weight, was taken off oxygen, etc.
